Esat Sezer Announced as Co-Author of Azerbaijan’s First Edition of Essentials of Modern Marketing

We are proud to announce Esat Sezer as the Co-author of the first Azerbaijan edition of Essentials of Modern Marketing (EOMM)—a prestigious global project founded by Professor Philip Kotler, in collaboration with Kotler Impact Inc. and the World Marketing Summit Group.

A distinguished corporate leader and digital transformation strategist, Esat Sezer brings a wealth of insight and global experience to this landmark edition, which will highlight Azerbaijan’s evolving business and marketing landscape on the world stage.

 

A Visionary at the Intersection of Business and Technology

With over 30 years of Fortune 200 “C-suite” IT leadership, Esat Sezer has made a lasting impact across industries including FMCG, manufacturing, and retail. He is the founder of Ritmus, a software and services company that champions the adoption of advanced technologies and digital innovation.

His career includes pivotal leadership roles, such as serving as Senior Vice President and Global CIO at The Coca-Cola Company from 2006 to 2016. Prior to that, he was the Global CIO at Whirlpool Corporation from 2002 to 2006. Esat’s leadership journey also includes significant roles at Colgate-Palmolive Co. between 1991 and 2001, and senior consulting at Andersen Consulting in London.

Currently, Mr. Sezer serves on the Board of Advisors for Domo, Inc., provides strategic advice to Mulesoft (a Salesforce company), and serves as the President of the American-Turkish Friendship Council in Atlanta.

 

A Legacy of Innovation and Influence

Esat Sezer’s leadership has earned widespread recognition. During his tenure at Coca-Cola Enterprises, the company was named one of Computerworld’s 100 Best Places to Work in IT for four consecutive years. He also received the Top Green-IT Organization Award in Great Britain. At Whirlpool, he was honored with the CIO 100 Award for IT innovation that drove business value. Additionally, Esat has contributed his expertise to global advisory boards for major companies like AT&T, Cisco Systems, Orange Telecommunications, Sprint, and The Research Board, and has been actively involved with nonprofit organizations, including Power My Learning, where he served on the audit committee.
